This product is very good. I am very happy with this purchase. From how versatile it is; From adding or subtracting compartments, to even collapsing part of it. My issue with it though Is the size is cumbersome. What I mean by that is, The width/depth of the product Is too narrow/small. There are some items I Have needed to transport That didn't fit inside of it Because of the width. And then there is a awkward amount of room left over to were minimal items could be stored. Creating wasted space, I would give a 5 star but I can't just do to the wasted spaceThis is a very good product, would highly suggest this to anyone who’s looking for a good trunk organizer or tote. We bought this to carry groceries in from the car and it has made this task much easier. We used to make multiple trips from the car into the house. Now, it is all brought in, in one trip.I would have given this product 5 stars but, my ONLY complaint is that the side straps that snap together, the stitching fell apart very quickly after only 3 uses. Now, with that being said, it also may have been caused by user error in how I secured the tote in the bed of my pickup truck.With that being said; I still would recommend this product, and would certainly buy this again, which we may to have a second for wife’s car.I was originally thinking of getting the smaller, one, but heck, larger is better...right? This is probably my third trunk organizer. First thing you notice is that it is very sturdy. Second is the flexibility with how you store items. I have a Toyota Prius and the thing takes up about 1/2 of my trunk space. However, in my line of work there are so many things that I require and they are no longer rolling around in the rear of my trunk area. If you have very limited trunk space, consider the smaller version of this. But, you CAN make this smaller by cinching the compartments together and using 1, 2 or all 3 of the compartments. VERY pleased with this. I am sure that this will probably outlast my car...not kidding, it is built that well.It helped organize the back of my car been having it for a few months and I have on complaintsI originally bought this for my trunk but ended up using g it to organize the kid stuff. It fits well in the floor between the back of my seat and the middle roe. It's very sturdy and the compartments are adjustable. I will probably get one for the trunk too!Fits perfectly in my car, great for organizing all my marketing materials for work.If your mostly on the road for work, this is a must!!!!We live in an RV and these have been helpful in keeping items under our bed organized.When Big Box grocery stores don't provide bag's, it's not a problem with a couple of these. Also noted that heavy item's were not an issue. When bringing home hot food in flimsy containers, item's can be protected / isolated and don't move or slide around the floor.First off... the seller was great. Excellent communications, full support, no debates or arguments just a very simply process of returning and then refunded - no problem.But the item itself..You must remember that this item is just shy of £100 ($136) which puts it at roughly double the price of it's next-nearest competitor on Amazon.***YOU NEED TO BEAR THAT IN MIND WHEN YOU LOOK AT WHAT YOU'RE GETTING - IS IT JUSTIFIED??***In a word - "No".My old organiser cost about £30 5yrs ago and was falling to bits. So when i ordered the TrunkCratePro i was expecting to see a noted increase in performance and build quality from it's next nearest rivals of around the £50 mark. The question you should ask is not "..is this a good organiser?".. as the answer will be "yes". But rather, is the pricetag of virtually DOUBLE that of competitors qualified..? And i believe the answer is a very firm "no!".Spent ages trawling through reviews... and this came out best. But when it arrived i found the following:1) The actual materials and build techniques employed are essentially the same as the competitors - many reviews rave about the velcro on the bottom of this to stop it moving about in your car.. but the truth is it's just 4 very small pieces of your everyday velcro stitched on the corners on the bottom - about and inch by half an inch... you could do that yourself - and use much bigger pieces!!2) The removable dividers. You get TWO. A larger one and a small one - that's it! Competitors often supply double that. But.. the velcro strips on the inside provided for you to stick your dividers to - are just 2 strips about half an inch width - and it's just ordinary velcro - flimsy. Just like what you get on a cheap sticky item that has pockets which use a slather of velcro to close - just like that. There are numerous other stronger options available - or at the very least they could have fitted a good sized width of velcro.. but no... just two strips about 3 inches from the top and bottom, which wouldn't hold the divider up against anything of any real weight (..like what you find in car trunks..!!??) when the car was being driven.3) Extends to just 2 compartments. Competitors often have the option of extending to 3 - if you just need 2, you just fold one box in by the provided secure clips. Not with the TrunkCratePro... just 2 compartments.4) Covering material - just the same as competitors.. and actually what was on my 5yr old £30 orginser i was looking to replace.5) No lid. Many competitors offer some form of covering or lid to their offerings... as being in a car trunk/boot for years means that you have years of dust and debris collecting inside, which means you have to periodically empty everything out, vacuum the thing and then refill it all. Even my £30 organiser had a lid..!So, to conclude, a real let down. People can sometimes seek to qualify their extravagant choices and decisions, rather than backing down admitting they overpaid for an item which didn't warrant the price... and that's all i can offer as an explanation as to why there are so many 'great reviews' of this item... either that or they've made a purchase of their first car boot/trunk organiser - with nothing to compare it to.'Starlings' currently have a good offering on Amazon for about half the price...Used to carry deicers, spare bulbs, WD40, coat, etc etc in different bags all sliding around. This seems tough and well made with sections so you can organise and separate your gear. Two straps supplied allow suitable anchorage if your car has anchor rings, but otherwise you'd have to make your own. The straps are adjustable as are the section dividers.This product is not well made, one of the securing straps broke on first use during install. The Strap came away from the Storage container, the stitching unravelled. I was too lazy to return it and have strapped it in my boot using bungee straps.Reasonably rigid and tough, much better than I was expecting, really pleased with product and easy to install in car boot.My husband uses this in the car - he carries a lot of essential guff for his job and this keeps everything neat. It's sturdy and he can divide it how he wants.
