- Perform 5 moderate-to-aggressive stops from 40 mph to 10 mph in quick succession. Avoid letting the brakes cool or coming to a complete stop.
- Complete 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in succession. Expect a slight resin smell as the brakes heat up.
- After the procedure, drive for about 5 minutes at moderate speed without using the brakes excessively. This allows the brakes to cool naturally.
- Once cooled, brakes can be used normally. Never cool brakes with water, as this can cause damage.
